iRize is a platform that helps connect people in need of temporary housing with hosts who are willing to offer it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email and basic profile details you provide when you sign up or log in.
• Profile information: details you add about yourself (e.g, address).
• Housing / listing information: details you submit when you create or manage a housing listing (e.g., location, description, availability).

We do not sell your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate and provide core iRize features (accounts, profiles, listings).
• Help match people needing housing with available hosts.
• Maintain the security and stability of the app.
• Improve and troubleshoot the app over time.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

When you delete your account from within the app, we:

• Delete your authentication/account record.
• Delete your user/profile document.
• Delete housing or property listings you created.
• Delete amenities data you created that is tied to your account.

After deletion, you will no longer be able to sign in or access your data in the app.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services such as Appwrite and standard infrastructure/analytics tools to operate and improve the app. These services process data on our behalf and are required to handle your data securely.

5. Your Choices

• Delete your account directly in the app.
• Request additional deletion by emailing irizeresilience@gmail.com.
• Contact us with any questions about your data.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
